Project Matters is a local-first application. Every project, task, budget, OKR, team member, risk and plan you create is stored in your own browser's local storage on your own device. We do not operate accounts, and your project content is never transmitted to or stored on our servers.

Because your data lives on your device, you are in full control of it. Clearing your browser storage, using private browsing, or switching devices or browsers will make your projects unavailable, and we have no copy to restore. We recommend using the built-in export features to keep your own backups of anything important.

Our hosting provider may collect standard technical information such as IP addresses and request logs for security and reliability purposes.
